About Us
Since being founded in 1983, The Philadelphia Juke Box Company
has become one of the leaders in jukebox record business.............
This is our standard for visual
inspection and grading the condition of vinyl 45's
M- Mint Minus or NM Near Mint
This is our highest grade. The record is near perfect.
It means that the record looks flawless.
There are no visible scuff marks or scratches.
It may be a new (old stock) unplayed record.
We don't grade any record above M- even if it's new.
NM- Near Mint Minus and VG+++ Very Good Plus Plus Plus
The record looks close to Mint Minus but may have some small scuff marks.
VG++ Very Good Plus Plus
The record may have some larger scuff marks, but no scratches.
VG+ Very Good Plus
The record may have scuff marks and obvious signs of some wear.
And so on down to P Poor
Out-Of-Print
means that the record is no longer being manufactured, but some new (old stock)
copies may be available or previously owned copies may be available.
Once a record is out-of-print it becomes very difficult to come up with
previously owned
copies that are in VG++ Very Good Plus Plus to M- Mint Minus condition.
A Collector's Item
such as an original Buddy Holly 45 from the 1950's may
cost $100.00 in M- condition, but only $20.00 in VG condition.
CD jukeboxes are being replaced by the Internet jukeboxes.
The original 78 rpm jukeboxes were replaced by the 45 rpm jukeboxes in the early
1950's.

About This Blog
Here's a tip: If there are some artists you like; look them up on Wikipedia
and find their Discography.
Most of them have a complete list of their singles recordings on there.
To refresh your memory about a particular song title, look it up on YouTube;
most every popular song is on there.
